This position shall:

• Assist the Director of Youth Ministry by:
  - Planning and executing the Wednesday night youth program (grades 7-12).
  - Recruiting and supporting youth ministry volunteers.
  - Calendaring and future event planning.
  - Providing communication to parents regarding youth ministry events.
  - Tracking the youth ministry budget.
• Assist the Director of Youth Ministry and the Director of Children’s Discipleship to provide continuity of programming, ministry, and discipleship opportunities with 5th and 6th grade students.
  - Be responsible for the Sunday night program for 5th and 6th graders.
  - Provide discipleship and outreach events for 5th and 6th graders which could include camp and retreats.
• Coordinate the logistics for and participate in the annual High School Mission Trip.
• Participate in the area youth directors planning and support meetings at the direction of Director of Youth Ministry.
• Lead a Middle School event in the summer, comparable to a Mission Trip or Summer Camp.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for the females in the youth ministry.
• Coordinate Sunday School for Junior and Senior High youth.
• Assist on Sunday mornings as needed.
• Be available for additional duties as requested
